For travel creators

Your recommendations, in real trip plans.

Travellers come to Spotplans to turn a destination into a day-by-day plan. When they plan a place you know, your Spots become their days, with your name on them.

What you get

  • Your name on real plans

When someone plans a trip to a place you've posted, the planner builds their days around your Spots and marks them “Recommended by” you, on the plan, the shared link and the PDF.

  • A creator page that works for you

Your Spots, bio and Instagram, YouTube or website links on one page. Travellers can follow you and plan a whole trip using only your Spots.

  • Get paid to check plans

Travellers pay to have someone who knows the place check their plan. Local reviewers fix what's wrong, add their own tips, and keep 70% of each check.

  • Go further with Pro

Pro creators are featured on the home page and the Creators page, and their Spots go first in plans. See Pro.

How it works

  1. 1

    Set up your page

Sign in with Google, add a photo, a short bio, your home base and your links. About two minutes.

  2. 2

    Add your Spots

A place you'd send a friend: what it is, your honest take, a tip, photos. We check each one before it goes live.

  3. 3

    Show up in trips

Anyone planning that place gets your Spots in their days, credited to you. Your dashboard shows followers and how many plans used your Spots.

Questions

Does it cost anything?
No. Creator pages and Spots are free. Pro is optional.
Do I keep my content?
Yes. You can edit or delete any of your Spots and edit your page whenever you like. If you want your page taken down, ask us and we'll remove it.
What makes a good Spot?
Somewhere specific you've actually been, with something a traveller can act on: when to go, what to order, what to skip. Hidden finds are especially useful: plans mark them as local picks.
How do local checks work?
You pick the places you know. When a traveller asks for a check there, the Spotplans team assigns it to you; you edit their plan and add tips, and you're paid your share after it's delivered.
Why join now?
Spotplans is new, so there are few creators per place. The first creators in a place are the ones the planner uses.
